Nestledowns rests on two acres of lawns and gardens and is then surrounded by a just over 450 acres of deer farm. We would highly recommend a stay for those looking for an experience of living in the country, where it's peaceful and restful, away from it all, but yet close enough to Arrowtown (10 mins drive); Queenstown (20 mins) Sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity of Nestledowns. Enjoy Stargazing by night, and see a sky so clear that you can watch a satellite move through the sky amongst shooting stars. Laze in the gardens, read a book, watch the deer stroll by or, if the urge takes you, there is a HUGE range of activities on your doorstep. This includes the new Queenstown Bike Trail (just a minute away from Nestledowns), a bike ride, walk or cycling tour through the greater Queenstown area takes you along the spectacular shores of two iconic lakes and the banks of three famous South Island rivers. Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and all the walks in the Fiordland National Park; Queenstown for the Gondola ride and cruising Lake Wakatipu on the 'Earnslaw'; Historic Arrowtown for it's bistro life, main street and gold panning; Vineyards, wineries and cheese making; Snow-skiing; jet-boat action and safaris; horse-riding; world-class golfing; fishing; tramping (bush-walking); 4-wheel drive safaris into the mountains and so on and so forth and, of course, we are THE HOME OF BUNGY JUMPING !!!
Guests are recommended to use their own vehicle as public transport is unavailable. The next bus stop is in Arrowtown 8 km from us. Queenstown International Airport is 20 min drive (15km) away. We are 500 mtr from "The Queenstown Trail". It links Queenstown, Arrowtown and the Gibbston Valley – with countless sights and activities to enjoy in between.
